Food and service was excelent one small point a little background music would have been nice

Belmont Hotel Bar & Restaurant

This is our neighbourhood South Indian restaurant and we&rsquo;ve been eating there since it opened. The food is lovely - lots of choice, freshly-cooked and excellent flavours. The kids&rsquo; menu is great. You always feel welcome, and I know our friends envy our luck in having such a nice restaurant just around the corner.

Early dinner post a Tigers game and before an event at De Montfort Hall. Friendly, efficient staff and very quick service. We ate from the special valentines menu (fixed price for 2 or 3 courses) which was great value.

This was a fantastic quality afternoon tea for a family of meat eaters. The sausage rolls were excellent and tasty. The scones were some of the best we have eaten. Anything we ran out of was replenished. However the vegetarian option was missing and the vegan option disappointing. It could be much better with a little more planning and thought. Over all we had a lovely time sharing a birthday tea and we will recommend the Belmont Hotel to anyone who wants afternoon tea.

Lovely fresh breakfast with great choice and professionally served. Good quality ingredients are beautifully presented and taste delicious. Will definitely eat here again.

Delicious afternoon tea, good service and a beautiful room and setting. Visited when my parents were in Leicester and we had a great time. Recommend
